Living in University Place

There’s a reason so many buyers are drawn to University Place, it offers a rare balance of community, natural beauty, and everyday convenience that’s hard to replicate anywhere else in the South Sound.

From its highly regarded University Place School District to its abundance of parks, trails, and local amenities, University Place isn’t just a place to live, it’s a lifestyle.

A Community-Centered Lifestyle

At the heart of University Place is a strong sense of community. The University Place Library serves as more than just a library, it’s a gathering place. From events and programs to live performances and concerts held in the atrium, it’s a space that brings people together year-round.

You’ll also find local parks, community spaces, and neighborhood events that make it easy to feel connected, whether you’re out for a walk, meeting neighbors, or attending seasonal activities.

Outdoor Living at Its Best

University Place is known for its access to some of the most beautiful outdoor spaces in the region.

Just minutes away is Chambers Bay Golf Course, famously home to the 2015 U.S. Open. Beyond golf, Chambers Bay offers miles of scenic walking trails, sweeping Puget Sound views, expansive open space, and access down to the beach, making it a go-to destination for both recreation and relaxation.

For those who enjoy a more wooded, tranquil setting, Kobayashi Park provides a network of peaceful trails that now extend all the way toward Steilacoom. It’s the perfect place for a morning walk, trail run, or simply enjoying the natural surroundings.

Convenience Without Compromise

Living in University Place also means you’re close to everything you need. Grocery stores like Trader Joe's and Whole Foods, along with a variety of dining and shopping options, are just minutes away, making everyday living easy and convenient.

A Home That Lets You Enjoy It All

The featured home offers the ideal opportunity to step into this lifestyle with ease. With extensive updates already completed, including major systems like the roof, furnace, heat pump, and more, this home is truly turn-key.

The Best of University Place, Ready from Day One

When you combine a top-rated school district, strong sense of community, access to incredible outdoor spaces, and everyday convenience, it’s easy to see why University Place continues to be one of the most desirable areas in the region.

STORIES FROM HOME

"From the moment we began working with Madison and Regina, we knew we were in exceptional hands. Their gracious professionalism, deep knowledge, and genuine warmth shaped every step of our journey.

Although we’ve purchased homes before, their continual updates, thoughtful explanations, and steady, patient support made us feel genuinely cared for.
When we unexpectedly lost a property due to an unethical selling agent, they stood by us with calm, unwavering professionalism.

We wholeheartedly recommend trusting this exceptional team with life’s most important real estate milestones. Their stylish eye, family‑centered spirit, and heartfelt dedication set them apart in every way. When the day comes for a new chapter and the search for our final, forever dream home, we will undoubtedly call on Madison and Regina again." E. SANDSTROM | TACOMA, WA

For the person who loves a moment, a beautiful table, and bringing people together— but maybe doesn’t want an entire closet dedicated to candlesticks and vintage glassware.

The Market Has Changed. The Strategy Should, Too. The real estate market we got used to from 2019–2022 is gone. Homes aren’t automatically selling in a weekend, multiple offers aren’t a given, and buyers are moving with more caution. We’ve been watching the shift happen for a few years, but it feels official now: buyers and sellers are operating in a new reality—and the old playbook doesn’t work the way it used to.

Sometimes the best local finds happen completely by accident. Last Tuesday, we were on a mission for fresh produce. With the recent lettuce parasite concerns and other produce recalls top of mind, we decided to skip our usual grocery store run and head to the Lakewood Farmers Market. Except… apparently we picked the one Tuesday it wasn't happening. Naturally, we Googled “farm stand near me.” The place with some of the best reviews was about 20 minutes away, tucked into the Puyallup River Valley: Wild Hare Organic Farm . So, off we went.
